Overlays included help enhance the scene so you can paint a picture in felt as the ray of light comes down from Heaven to speak with Paul or see Peter in chains only to have them dropped from his hands by an Angel!

Use in conjunction with the Cave Overlay to create a dramatic cave scene.

 

Mounted Boards vs. Unmounted Backgrounds: 

Felt boards are felt backgrounds mounted to heavy duty cardboard and then reinforced with additional cardboard to create a sturdy felt board. Felt backgrounds are just the scene on a piece of felt (not made into a board). Backgrounds can be overlayed on top of an existing felt board.
